Cardio

Cardio short for cardiovascular exercise, refers to any type of physical activity that raises your heart rate and increases your breathing rate. This type of exercise is important for maintaining a healthy heart, lungs, and circulatory system. Examples of cardio exercises include running, cycling, swimming, brisk walking, and dancing.
Cardio has numerous health benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, increased stamina and endurance, weight management, reduced risk of chronic diseases such as diabetes, and improved mood and mental health. Regular cardio exercise also strengthens the immune system and helps to reduce stress and anxiety.
To reap the benefits of aerobic exercise, it is recommended to do at least 150 minutes a week or 30 minutes a day of moderate intensity exercise, 5 days a week.
